What is a GM Protection Plan?
A GM Protection Plan is a comprehensive vehicle service contract designed specifically for Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac vehicles. It covers the cost of parts and labor for covered repairs long after your original factory warranty expires.
Is it backed by General Motors?
Yes! Unlike risky third-party warranties, this is an authentic, factory-backed GM product. You are getting official protection directly from General Motors.
Can I buy one after purchasing my vehicle?
Absolutely. You do not have to buy a plan on the day you purchase your vehicle. As long as your car, truck, or SUV still meets the age and mileage eligibility requirements, we can get you covered.
Can I finance my protection plan?
No. We do not offer financing. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. We accept debit cards, ACH transfers, wire transfers, and credit cards. Please note that credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee.
Can I cancel it?
Yes, your plan can be canceled at any time. If you choose to cancel, you will receive a pro-rated refund based on the remaining time and mileage left on your contract.
Is it transferable?
Yes! If you decide to sell your vehicle to a private party, you can transfer the remaining coverage to the new owner for a small fee. Having active GM protection is a great way to increase your vehicle's resale value.

Yes. If you need a repair, you can take your vehicle to any of the 4,000+ participating GM dealerships across the United States and Canada. You are never tied down to just one service center.
